Jogging Stroller

Connor's birthday is next week, and we decided to get him a jogging stroller for his birthday. Daddy likes to run outside, and this way Connor can go with him. Mommy's been running on the treadmill for a while, and might even go with them. It's a gift that's good for everyone and should be a lot of fun for Connor. Here are some pictures of his super fancy BOB revolution jogging stroller.

Posing with the stroller (He actually got up there on his own, this wasn't setup)

Strapped in, ready to go!

And, one bonus picture below!

Connor actually hated the stroller when we first put him in it. He arched his back and shrieked the entire time we adjusted the straps. Mommy had to get him cheered up for a picture, and this picture actually captured his biggest smile.

3rd Haircut

Connor went in for his third haircut this weekend. He's got to look fly for the ladies at his first birthday party next week. He was worried his long hair would catch fire from the candle on his cake, so we took him to Shear Madness again. His hair grows super fast, if he was a girl and we hadn't cut it, it would be really long by now.

Momma pointing out Connor's hair issues pre-cut.

Connor did very well again, he liked the Jeep he got to sit in.

All done!

One last picture during the cut... Daddy's got to find a way to get on this blog!!

Happy Birthday Grammy Genie and Aunt Abby!

Connor got together with the Anders family to celebrate Grammy Genie and Aunt Abby's birthdays. He really enjoyed Grammy's turkey and noodles, and had a great time laughing at his crazy cousin Allison.

So scary Connor peed himself! (he always pees himself)

Grammy got a non-Christmas wreath, I didn't know there was such a thing! (There are lots of things Connor doesn't know yet, he's a baby. Take it easy on him.)

Grammy's my valentine for now since she got me this fancy shirt, but I'll look so fly in it, I'll have to fight off the ladies.

Visit with the Gaddis family

Today Connor got to visit the Gaddis kids. Seeing tiny little Chase made us realize how far Connor's grown in a year and it was fun to see Maia to see how big Connor will be in another year. Connor of course had fun trying out all the different toys, and he mostly sat in stunned silence while Maia ran around the house chattering and showing off all her things.

New bag of tricks

Connor's been learning a lot of new tricks this week. We've been trying to get Connor to clap for a while, but he really hasn't seemed to get it until now. Yesterday morning Daddy took Connor's hands and was clapping them together. Usually Connor makes his hands into little fists, and there's no clapping sound and he pulls his hands away. This time, he happened to open his hands and I swear I could just see it click in his brain.

He's been clapping like crazy since then, and it's ridiculously cute.

We couldn't get him to clap on camera today, but we finally got a video of him dancing. He's been doing it pretty often, but we haven't been able to get it on video. Maybe next week we'll get a video of him clapping.

He's also learned how to stand on his own, although he still has to stay near something to grab onto. He'll stand there for ten or more seconds at a time without holding onto anything. He doesn't seem to be interested in taking any steps to go anywhere, but his balance is fantastic.
