Memorial Day weekend

Mommy and Daddy had a lot of work to do around the house this weekend, so for Friday and Saturday night Connor stayed with Grammy and Grandpa Anders. Mommy and Daddy painted the porch, touched up the paint on the walls inside (places where little boys touched the walls or drove trucks on them), planted flowers and shrubs, and spread around 14-15 bags of mulch and 5 bags of dirt. All that work probably would have been impossible with Connor "helping".

Connor had a great time at the Grandparents' house. He helped them with grocery shopping, went swimming, and jumped in a moonwalk. He was so tired from all the activities he took at 3 hour nap that day.

On Sunday we went to the Herrick reunion in Warrensburg. The weather was nice, but a little on the warm side. Connor, Daddy, Drew and Allison all swam a little bit and we played with all the relatives. We had a great time, but didn't get all that many pictures this year. Mostly just a bunch with Connor in them.

Connor wants Daddy to push him in the stroller.

Connor loves when Payton chases him. They had a good time playing together.

All this fun makes me thristy!

Yeeha!

Connor didn't want to smile for Mommy's picture.

Uncle Nate though, he's hilarious!!

Built in waterpark

Last week, our sprinkler system was finally finished. While the owner of the sprinkler system company was adjusting the heads we followed him around and Connor decided it would be a great idea to test all of the heads himself.

One benefit of the sprinkler system is the fact that it's a built in waterpark. It will be nice to just turn it on and let him go nuts in it. He loves it!

Connor and his puppy

It's been fun to watch Connor and Chloe interact. Typically Connor is very bossy with Chloe and she's very patient with him.

He always gets in trouble for it, but sometimes when he's mad he'll smack Mommy or Daddy in the leg or if Chloe's too close he'll swat at her.

When Connor's outside he loves to go up and down the sidewalk and he loves to bring Chloe along with him. He'll insist Chloe comes with him and usually rides in his stroller/tricycle/wagon/car down to the end of the street and then gets out and runs back with her. They're so cute together.

In this video, Connor doesn't like the fact that Daddy's in the way at the end of it. Also notice that he's holding one of his trucks. It seems like he's always holding one.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Friday night we went to Brandon's graduation party (Congrats Brandon!). They had good food and fun games. Connor enjoyed himself, but almost caused Mommy to melt down when he fell off the deck into the mud only minutes after we arrived. His new outfit was a mess! Connor and Payton got along well, it's crazy to think that she's almost exactly a year younger than him and she's almost as tall as he is. She's in the 90's percentile for height and last we checked I think Connor was in the 30's.

Connor loved to feed Payton goldfish:

Yesterday we went to see Drew's first game of the season and he did great. He hit a ball in the pictures below and ended up scoring a run. Great work bud!

Good swing Drew!

Connor liked watching the game and playing with Drew's friend Chance. We sat in the shade and played in the grass during the game:

Afterwards we went over to Aunt Amanda's house to eat and celebrate Drew's birthday and Mother's day. Grandma Genie and her girls:

Drew got some Heelys for his birthday from the Vernons and Gobles. Amanda, Allison and Andrew all tried them and they were harder than they looked. We all went up and down the sidewalk running and racing.

Connor got flowers for his Mommy for Mother's day and he made her a neat laminated poem with his handprints at school on Friday. Connor decided to put his hands down his pants in the picture below, but it was cute despite that and it's getting posted.

Happy Mother's Day Momma!

Happy Mothers day to all the Moms out there!

Big bump!

Andrea got a call today from Connor's school. Connor had been running (like he always does, the teachers say he only has one speed) down the hall and a teacher opened a door just at the wrong time. Connor ran into it face first and it looks pretty darn painful.

It really looks more painful in person, it's purple and has a big bump to it.

Poor guy!

It really doesn't seem to bother him, I think he's already forgotten about it:

Bubbles and Ball with Chloe

The video above is pretty long, but it's pretty cute. Connor loves to play catch and any time he does he gets very bossy with Chloe. Usually he yells at her to get up on the couch before he'll throw the ball, but this video's kind of fun since he lets her play.

Action shot, throwing a ball:

He still is in love with trucks and cars. He carries them with him everywhere he goes in the house.

Yesterday cousins Drew and Allison came to visit and our neighbor Jamie came over with her daughter Makenzie. Jamie brought over some bubbles. To say Connor loved the bubbles would be an understatement. He absolutely went nuts for them.

Afterwards we had to clean the bubble mess off the kids and they all took a bath together.
