On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, Connor officially graduated from High School. It was a bit of an ordeal getting it all together on a Wednesday evening. Grandma Genie and Amanda were in town for the ceremony and celebration, Shawn had work and meetings to take care of before leaving, and Connor decided that he would work out before getting ready. Of course, at the time he was planning to leave, he was just finished with his shower and was rushing to get out of the house. We almost skipped taking any pics at the house, especially since it had just started to rain, but we squeezed a few in before Connor left to meet up with his friends. Connor rushed out to his car and his yellow National Honor's Society lanyard. Connor realized it before he drove to the ceremony and Shawn took it to him in the Target parking lot.
The ceremony began with the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and eventually got underway. Carter did a wonderful job with the Valedictorian's speech, and after a few other speeches they started going through the names. As the order was determined alphabetically, Connor was one of the last to go.
Congratulations Connor, we are all so proud of you!
