This past week the kids both attended golf camp in the neighborhood on Monday through Thursday. It was super convenient being in the neighborhood and although the kids have had golf lessons, they are still definitely beginners and were a little apprehensive about the camp. The weather was a bit hot, but by the end of the week they both ended up loving the camp and enjoyed golfing. On Thursday, the parents were invited a a pavilion at the club to hear how the camp went and for the kids to receive some parting gifts. The coach had some of the kids answer questions and a few of the kids, including Paige, demonstrated some of the techniques they learned. Paige ended up getting a very nice bonus gift bag since she was camper of the day for one of the days.
We were also very proud of the kids for making a nice impression on the coach and he mentioned to me that both of them were well mannered and well behaved.
