We'd intended to post some pics of her that we took recently at a sunflower field, but haven't gotten the pics yet so this post is a tad late. I'll update at a future date with the pics.
The good news is that Andrea is doing well and continuing to get stronger and healthier each day. She had a checkup with Dr. Advani this past week and although one of her white blood cell levels were low, everything else was in the normal range and at the moment everything looks good. We are all so proud of the progress Andrea has made and she has shown courage and quiet resolve throughout her journey. There have been some ups and downs and it's hard to believe it's been a year since we started learning about cancer, researching options, going to appointments, preparing for surgery, recovery, reconstruction, and everything involved.
We look forwards to a healthy future for Andrea and she continues to take good care of herself with a healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle.
