Connor just fell asleep and I had to type up a quick blog post while I was thinking about it. He's so sweet at bed time and drags it out as long as you'll let him. Recently he also likes to actually fall asleep while you're lying next to him. It doesn't usually take long so we've been indulging him a little.
Tonight he was squirming around and I decided to leave. He sat up when I got out of his bed and his face crinkled up and he looked awfully sad.
Me: "Why are you sad buddy"
Connor: "I want someone to lie down with me"
Me: "Well you have Lion don't you? Isn't he your friend?"
Connor: "Yes, but he not talk"
Me: "Well, I guess I'll talk to you."
It's hard to say no to him, and he was asleep in about five minutes.
