Alex and Laura come to Florida to visit

 Alex and Laura flew down from Rochester this past week to visit. Laura stayed through the weekend and Alex stayed part of the next week through Thursday. It was really great to see them, we hadn't seen either of them since Christmas of 2011!

On Saturday night, Andrea and I took Alex and Laura out for drinks and appetizers at Three Forks. It was pretty swanky and fancy, which Alex and Laura appreciate. We had some tasty food and drink and then headed over to the piano bar next door for some more drinks. It was great to catch up with them and we chatted the night away. It was probably the most words Alex has ever spoken around me in a day. I had a lot of fun and I think everyone else did too.

On Sunday they came to our house and although it was pretty stinking cool for it, we turned on the pool heat and the hot tub so they could swim. The water temperature in the pool was about 60 degrees, the air temperature was 80 degrees and the hot tub was about 100 degrees. It was kind of weird jumping between the 20 degree changes. It was a little cold, but everyone jumped in to the pool and hot tub and it was fun to swim again, probably for the last time this year.

Connor liked showing off his swim moves, jumping, diving, etc. The cold water didn't bother him a bit.

 
Laura and Alex had fun playing with the kids in the play room too. Paige loved doing tea time with Laura.

We're so happy they came to visit! Love you guys!
