Fun at the neighborhood pool

Even though we're not officially residents of our new neighborhood yet, the amenities director was nice enough to already give us access cards so we can use the Amenity Center and the pool. We'd peeked in at the pool before and today was our first day actually going to swim. They'd been running the heater lately and it was a little warmer so the water was actually perfect. The pool was great too, lots of beautiful palm trees everywhere, lots of areas to swim with a zero entry area and a slide too. It was the most fun I've had at a pool with the kids.

Both kids demonstrated and used their new swimming skills a few times. Paige slipped and went under water a couple times and reflexively rolled to her back like she's supposed to. Connor and I practiced quite a bit swimming to the side of the pool and then back to me. He's getting much better but he's still pretty nervous and not very confident. Connor LOVED the slide. We went down it at least 10 times together. He's too little to go himself so he rides down with Daddy.

The zero entry area was nice. Paige was pretty entertained there and fairly safe. Connor liked to attack the splashdown water jets with punches and kicks.

Sissy liked to ham it up and sit on the water jets.
