On Mondays and Wednesdays each week, Connor stays after school for an extra hour to learn Spanish. This past Monday, the parents were invited to come celebrate the end of their session and have a Spanish Fiesta with the kids. Andrea and I went along with a couple of the other parents. The kids went around and demonstrated their knowledge of Spanish and then they had some snacks. Connor seems to enjoy his Spanish lessons, and the teacher even asked us if we speak Spanish around the house with him because he's doing well.
It seemed like he got along well with the kids and enjoyed the teacher. There were three boys in the class that were extremely disruptive. It was hard for anyone to focus with their constant misbehavior. Hopefully they won't be in the class next session.
