St. Augustine Carriage ride - Night of Lights
On Friday night, while the kids were at Grandpa and Grandma's house, we went to St. Augustine for a date night. We ate dinner at A1A Ale Works and then stopped in to the Hyppo pop place for some popsicles for Shawn. Andrea wanted a coconut macaroon for dessert, but the French macaroon store shut down. We rode one of the carriages around town and got a nice slow paced tour of the area and then walked around for a while looking for a good dessert for Andrea. Unfortunately, there was nothing that looked as good as the missing coconut macaroons, but we did get a chance to look at a lot of the restaurants and their menus.
It was a beautiful night out with my beautiful wife. It was neat to see all the lights on for the holidays.
